A disk filling up, a backup failing silently, an internet line that saturates every morning: most failures give warning long before they stop the business. IT monitoring means watching your network and servers continuously so we can act at that point. From Grasse, we monitor the infrastructure of SMEs and local authorities across the Alpes-Maritimes.
What does IT monitoring actually watch?
- The network: internet lines, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi access points. An outage or saturation is detected immediately.
- Servers: CPU load, memory, disk space, service status. We see a server struggling before it goes down.
- Applications and services: email, websites, business applications. We check they respond, and quickly.
- Backups: every failed backup raises an alert, instead of being discovered the day you need it.
Alerted before the failure
An alert is only worth something if someone acts on it. Our thresholds are tuned to your setup, so they flag what matters without drowning the team in noise. As a result, we are often warned before you notice anything, and we step in remotely: incidents are resolved in under 30 minutes on average.
For critical systems, we can agree an on-call arrangement to suit you outside business hours.
Monitoring dashboards to plan ahead
Monitoring is not just firefighting. History shows the trend: storage that will be full in six months, an internet line that has become too tight. You plan purchases instead of being caught out.
Monitoring is included in our IT maintenance contract, and it relies on a well-documented IT network.
Tools: Centreon, Prometheus and Grafana. Open standards others can take over.
